I must be the worst blogger in the world! It has been ages since my last post..thankfully; I blame this on my constant shooting.

When I met with Lizzy for her trial one afternoon, at the office of Wedding Concepts in Cape Town, I was prepared with my whole kit for a trial – this usually takes about two and half hours.

Lizzy had very fine, shoulder length blond hair. I was glad I had the trial booked, as I could see that I would need to master working with her hair to create a fantastic up-style.

As you can imagine, I nearly fell of my chair when Lizzy informed me that she won’t have enough time for a trail that day, which meant the very first and last ‘play’ I would have with her hair would be at her actual wedding…THE VERY NEXT DAY!!

After our meeting and chat about what we planned to do on the day, I immediately went shopping. Being in a rush I could only find a tattered looking hair piece that matched the platinum blond of Lizzy’s hair. I tried to bargain with the shop assistant to get discount on this second hand looking extensions, but she wouldn’t budge. Desperate times called for desperate measures. I bought it and went straight home to do some SERIOUS damage control (AKA, I unravelled the entire piece and sewed it back to where I wanted every strand perfectly placed).
